Demedicalizing Vocal Transition with Nicole Gress, MS, CCC-SLP (she/they) | QueerCME Vodcast S01E01

Season #1

Listen as Dr. Beal (they/them) interviews Nicole Gress (she/they) MS, CCC-SLP, the founder of Undead Voice. After working within the confines of the traditional model of voice therapy for 4 years, Nicole became increasingly aware of the holes and roadblocks that exist in the traditional approach to working with the trans community on their voices and even BIGGER holes in how speech-language pathologists are taught to approach gender voice work. After extensive research Nicole synthesized clinical, empirical, and community knowledge from a wide array of vocal disciplines to build the unique practice that is Undead Voice.
